Ramazanova Zhanar Sembekovna

Speciality  “Journalism” was opened at the philological faculty of the Qaraganda State University named after academician E.A.Buketov in 1993. Independent department was formed in 1994. The first head of the department was a well-known Kazakh publicist and researcher of history and theory of journalism ,candidate of philological sciences, docent Z.S.Tayshybaev. His contribution to the establishment of the Department of Journalism has made Karaganda writer and publicist V.Mogil’nitskii ,famous Kazakh journalist M.Sembay ,talented Kazakh poet K.Saugabay ,famous Kazakh journalist-satirist M.Tokmyrza . In different years the heads of Department were B.K.Momynov, J.K.Smagulov , S.S.Tahan, V.T.Abishev,M.K. Zhumabekov Currently the Department is headed by candidate of philological sciences Ramazanova Zhanar Sembekovna.

The first graduation of journalists had taken place in 1997. For the entire period of existence of the specialty groups with the state and Russian languages of instruction prepared more than 500 specialists, including in the correspondence of about 200. Practice has shown that graduates are in demand. Graduates currently work in various media of the Republic and abroad, in PressCentre, PR agencies, taught in the departments of Kazakhstan. The Department is proud of its pupils: Irangayip Kuataiuly – the press-secretary of the state Fund of the Kazakh language , Tilen Tileubai – head of the Astana Department of the newspaper “Zhas Kazakh”, Zhandos Badeluly – head of the newspaper “Alash Ainasy”, Manshyk Orynbasarova – head of Almaty Department of the radio “Azattyk radio”, Olga Kraus – Editor-in-chief of the regional newspaper “Novy Vestnik”, Asel Sabitova – head of the Kazakh edition of the regional channel “Channel 5”, Gulnur Kydaybergenova – press secretary of the regional Department of internal Affairs, Kayratbek Zulhazhav – editor of the TV channel “Sphere” of Temirtau, Aigerym Akbergenova – the head of the press center of the consignment “NurOtan”, Shoshaeva Ainur – the Journalist of the newspaper “Astana akshamy” , Makisheva Bota – Deputy Editor of the Republican youth newspaper “Альянс.kz” , Abdieva Ainur – the speaker of regional TV channel “First Karaganda” , Aslan Isa – editor of the regional TV channel “First Karaganda” , Vlad Vodnev – operator of the TV channel “KTK” and many others.

In the framework of NASA teachers of the Department of Journalism in accordance with the plan purposefully provide the leadership for research students, conduct research and meaningful consultations in the preparation of students to participate in scientific conferences and subject Olympiads. Disciplines and special courses of the Department is focused on the development of scientific interests of students, promoting their creative activity.

At the Department of Journalism operates the laboratory of educational television , which is a complex including Studio, editing, hardware, radio, experimental educational audience. Laboratory of educational television sets the main goal of the organization of practical training in television and radio journalism. The impressive part of the special seminars , the reading of the special seminars ,the reading of the most special courses on journalistic skills stipulated by the curriculum of the specialty “Journalism”, based on the educational and technical capabilities of the laboratory , opening up broad prospects to the students in deepening their theoretical and practical knowledge.

International cooperation

Undergraduates of the specialty “Journalism” listened to lectures on intercultural

communication Professor from Slovakia Stanislav Benchich (may 2013), Professor of

Moscow state University. Lomonosov Andryushchenko (June 2013). To strengthen

international ties on 9-10 December 2013. at the philological faculty was held a

seminar-training for students of the philological faculty on issues of ethical standards in the

field of “mass media”, interaction of journalists with the institutions of Society,”

journalist-foreign Affairs specialist, State Counsellor of the Russian Federation, academician

of RANS, Professor Cipram Mazheyka.

The Department of journalism collaborates with teachers from foreign countries:

— Tomas Ebertowski, lecturer University. Adam Mickiewicz in poznań (Poland) read a

course of lectures for undergraduates in comparative linguistics (April, 2013);

Professor Lubor Matejko (Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia) gave a course of

lectures on topical issues of Russian studies (April, 2013), upon completion of the course the

participating students received certificates.

— Stanislav Bencic PhD (Selye Janos University, Faculty of Education, Komarno, Slovakia)

in June, September 2013, delivered a course of lectures on “Problems of intercultural

In 2013, the teacher Dmitrenko  Oleta took part in the International conference in Tomsk

(Russia) with the report “Acting the role of advertising in the media in a converged

environment,” which was highly appreciated and published in the collection of scientific


From 11 to 13 July 2014 lecturers of the Department of journalism Ramazanova Z.S. and  Erkin

  1. J. passed refresher courses in the Summer school “Journalism and communication”,

organized by the in Kyrgyzstan.

In July 2014 the head of the Department of journalism held a month language course at the

Institute of languages in Prague (Czech Republic).

In March 2017, doctor of Philology, Professor Abisheva Vera Tokenovna in the framework of

multi-disciplinary research internships “International organizations and scientific

cooperation”, as well as advanced training in the framework of this program, participated in

educational and cultural events, and conferences the following universities of France:

  • International Academy of CONCORD.
  • University Of Paris 1 — Panthéon-Sorbonne.
  • Institute of political Sciences of France (Sciences Po).
  • National Institute of Oriental languages and civilizations of the world.

Attended lectures of foreign scientists on the problems of education and science, President

of CONCORD International Academy, Professor G. V. Tomsk; Director of the international

Federation of the FIDGIP N. To. Takeaway, employee of UNESCO, and Louis Pardo.

In June of 2017 doctor of Philology, Professor Abisheva Vera Tokenovna passed scientific

training: “Modern state and prospects of development of researches of actual problems of

journalism” in Saint-Petersburg state University, Russia, Saint-Petersburg.

Attended lectures of famous scientists, leading professors of the University: S. G.

Korkonosenko ., A. C. Puiu., N. L. Volkovskiy., L. P. Gromova, D. P. Gavra, etc., as well as a

series of lectures by professors from Poland Bartos Gardecki.

In November of 2017 doctor of philological Sciences, Professor Asanov Kolybai

Dauletbaevich visited Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. During a visit to the University

was held a scientific consultation with Professor Yunus Kacem, Director of the scientific

Institute “Turkiet”.

Scientific directions

The main objective of the research activities of the Department is to promote and support

scientific research as the basis of fundamentalization of education as the basis for training of

skilled workers in accordance with the needs of the state and society.

The main tasks in the field of research activities include:

  • the development of science and creative activities of faculty and students;
  • priority development of fundamental research as a basis for creating new knowledge,

learning new technology;

  • the growing influence of science to the solution of educational problems;
  • effective use of scientific and technical potential of higher education to address priority

challenges facing the media;

  • the expansion of international scientific cooperation with the aim of integrating with the worldsystem of science and education and co scientific results.

Scientific activity corresponds to the strategic plan of the University until 2015.

Under the Strategic plan of the University staff of the Department from 2011 to 2013, he

carried out research work on the theme: “Actual issues of regional journalism” will be

introduced in the educational process.

Strategy in the research area is determined by the ability of the Department to successfully

solve relevant and integrated/interdisciplinary science challenges, to innovative products

demanded by modern society.

The results of the work on the topic in the period from 2011 to 2013 is the proceedings of the

In the period from 2011 to 2013, the increased productivity of the Department. If in 2011 1

member of the Department had 2 articles in 2013 3 of the article, which is 1.5 times more

than in 2011.

The positive results recorded in the analysis of the activities of Sisters in peat list. So, if in

2011 the volume of publications in peat, I made a list of 23.06 in 2012, 32 in 2013 42.

The positiveresult of research activities of teaching staff of the Department is the growth

of publications in journals with impact factor (the database Thomson Reuters, Scopus,

Study Abisheva V. T. “the Ethics of modern journalism of Kazakhstan: problems of formation”

devoted to a relatively new direction in science — deontology — how the teachings of duty

and responsibility, about the professional behavior of the expert in a specific field of activity.

The urgency is due to the changes associated with the democratization of the Kazakhstan

society, with understanding the issues of the spiritual revival of the nation, the level of

development journalism as a science, providing new approaches to study its different

aspects. The goal of scientific activity — the study of the processes and trends of journalistic

deontology of Kazakhstan as a system of norms and principles of professional conduct of

the journalist that determines the manner of implementation of information policy. For the

first time in national journalism reflected the scientific understanding of the problems of

journalistic deontology: the concept of research, identified the main trends and prospects of

the formation. Scientific interests also include research in the field of functioning and

development of the language of the media.

Due to the constant attention the government pays to the issues of preservation of the

spiritual heritage of the peoples of Kazakhstan relevance of the dissertation research

Asanova K. D. “the value of the Journalistic art of aitys”, the objective of which is disclosure

of the social nature and public importance of the specific genre of Kazakh oral folk poetry in

the period of its formation and development, determination of its journalistic nature by

reflecting outreach, advocacy directions of this art form. The author scientifically

substantiated the importance of aitys, which has no analogues in other cultures as a source

of information about life, history, traditions, worldview of the Kazakhs, aitys influence on the

development of speech culture.

The research interests of PhD.N., associate Professor M. K. Zhumabekova includes

problems of folklore and folklore studies, which have primarily theoretical value. He

published the monograph “the Genesis and semantics of the loci communes in Kazakh

folklore”, devoted to the study of the Genesis and semantics of loci communes in the Kazakh

folklore. The relevance of the study determined that the theoretical understanding of

common places in the modern Kazakh folklore, the study of their nature and of the artistic

and aesthetic features contributes to the solution of many questions connected with the

Genesis of the genres of Kazakh folklore, poetics, peculiarities of existence, which will lead

to the understanding of folklore as a special art words. Currently, M. K., Jumabekov deals

with issues related to the history of Kazakh journalism, professional ethics of journalism.

The research interests of PhD.N., associate Professor Ramazanova Z.S. problems of study of fine ballads as the lesser known genre and an integral part of the Kazakh literary criticism . Thesis of PhD.N. Ramazanova Z.S. dedicated to a little-studied genre in Kazakh poetry  – the ballad, called, “Қазақ поэзиясындағы баллада жанры(қалыптасу,даму ерекшеліктері және көркемдік сипаты).

Educational work.


Educational work with students at the Department of journalism is through the educational

process, as well as through the organization of various forms of extracurricular work for

formation of the modern scientific worldview and system of basic values, intellectual,

professional orientation, vocational and creative labor, aesthetic, ecological, Patriotic, and

physical development of young people.

The basis of the educational work based on the aspects of spiritual, moral and aesthetic

First steps student freshman started traditionally: curatorial hour “Dedication to students”.

In September and October, the students meet State educational standards and modern

requirements to the level of training of specialists of higher level employees of the media,

organized excursions to the Newspapers, different TV channels in Qaraganda, where the

students talk editors, Executive secretaries, journalists about their future profession.

Education of highly educated professionals develops all areas of the educational work.

Conducted individual consultations for students, which help them in resolving the subjective

problems related to the preparation for the session, conflict resolution, improvement of

psychological climate in the student group. Educational work includes the following areas:

Creative activities: excursions, meetings with interesting people, participation in activities of

student groups.

So, 16.09.2012 G. students met with Olzhas Suleimenov, a writer, a fighter for the

anti-nuclear peace 23.10.2013. meeting with Almaty journalists Ayman Kaymyl’dina and Anwar,

conducting a master class.

In November an excursion was organized on the 5th channel, where the students met with

journalists and got acquainted with the work of the journalist, the operator.

In the civil education of the students played their active part in the social activities of the

faculty. Students are encouraged to participate actively in public and political life of the

branch, various activities, research and economic work.

Legal education is carried out through the organization of legal education, prevention of

asocial phenomena among students. It is an important component of the formation of the

conscientious citizen and patriot.

Special attention is paid to the prevention of drug addiction and alcoholism, to build the

students ‘ perceived need for a healthy lifestyle as a compulsory element of their studies.

Improving the quality of knowledge along with the strengthening of the spiritual and Patriotic

aspirations of students are the main objectives of educational work.

In the framework of educational work, considerable attention is paid to the discussion of the

policy speeches of the President of RK N.A. Nazarbayev to the people of Qazaqstan, the

youth and students.

Students take an active part in public life at the faculty, University level, various cultural
